We want you to enjoy renting space from KUF and understand how this works for you and for KUF. KUF is a non-profit religious group run by volunteers. As with most churches, making financial ends meet is always a challenge. That is why we have to charge for the use of our space.
Rental of KUF Space at 206
206 Concession Street is an ideal place for you to hold a meeting. We are conveniently located in the centre of Kingston and have a large parking lot at the back of the building. The building is equipped with a ramp to the front door, an elevator, and a handicapped accessible washroom on the main floor.
Main Hall
The Main Hall on the second floor can accomodate up to 200 people with catering kitchen adjacent to it.
$100 for 4 hours, $170 for 8 hours, $225 for all day.
Quiet Room
The Quiet Room on the second floor is like a living room - 400 square feet.
$50 for 4 hours, $80 for 8 hours, $120 for all day.
First Floor
The First Floor area is large, about 1500 square feet, and is equipped with several large tables and chairs. There is a catering kitchen at the north end of this hall.
$60 for 4 hours, $95 for 8 hours, $110 for all day.
Terms and Conditions
When you have arranged to book a room with our rental volunteer, please forward a cheque for the agreed rental amount and another separate cheque for $40 as security deposit. If you leave the space as you found it - clean, neat, and no garbage or recycling left behind, then we are happy to have you rent it at the base price and return or destroy the security deposit cheque. If you prefer to have us get in a janitor to clean up, then the security deposit will not be returned.
No alcohol is to be consumed on our premises and the premises are smoke-free.
The use of the sound system and keyboard is not included in the base rent for any room. The use of the sound system is $15 per hour.
If you are having a large event, where you will have people coming and going or arriving at different times, we may require a steward from KUF to be there to advise you with setting up and remain to open the door and close up at the end of the event. This would cost $15 per hour for a minimum of three hours. A steward would be needed if you wished to use the sound system
