WHO WE ARE
Kingston Unitarian Fellowship (KUF) is an energetic, welcoming and diverse congregation with a membership of about one hundred and thirty. Since 1954 KUF has been a spiritual home for religious liberals in Kingston. We have religious education programmes for children and adults, and our social action commitment is broad. We welcome serious discussion and study, plus good humour and good times together. We have a small but growing music programme, a congregation that enjoys singing, and a choir, the "Vocal Volunteers", which sings during the service several times a month.
Since September 2001, the Reverend Kathy Sage has served with us as our settled minister.
From Feb 1 to June 30, 2007 Rev. Sage was on sabbatical leave. A series of guest

KUF includes two chaplains who conduct weddings, memorial services, and other rites of passage for Kingston and area residents.
KUF members and friends come from a wide variety of religious backgrounds and views. A recent survey showed that although we are predominantly spiritual and secular humanists, a wide diversity of other beliefs are represented and respected.
Visitors and guests are warmly welcome to share our Sunday services (September till June, starting at 10:30 a.m.), enjoy our congenial coffee hour after the service, and to explore our programmes for children and adults.

The Kingston Unitarian Fellowship
We are the Kingston Unitarian Fellowship (KUF). We respect and accept a wide variety of
religious beliefs, but require none. We consider and explore principles that we agree can guide
children, youth, and adults in forming an ethical life.
We affirm and promote, as a fellowship, these principles:
•The inherent dignity and worth of every person.
•Justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
•Acceptance of one another and encouragement of spiritual growth.
•A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
•The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process.
•The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.
•Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
At KUF, you can explore your beliefs in a safe and welcoming place.
“Some beliefs are like blinders, shutting off the power to choose one’s own direction. Other
beliefs are like gateways opening wide vistas for exploration.”
— Sophia Lyon Fahs
Religious education at KUF is seen as ongoing throughout one’s lifetime, with programs for
children (classes held each Sunday morning, beginning at 10:30 am), youth and adults.
We create a caring religious community through a variety of spiritual, educational, intellectual
and social activities and projects. Our lay chaplains perform weddings and other services for
those who do not have a faith home. Our minister is Reverend Kathy S. Sage.
Sunday Services begin at 10:30 am, in Unitarian Hall, 214 Concession Street. KUF is accessible
by wheelchair. We have hearing-
