Religious Education for Children & Youth

Director of Religious Education (DRE): David Kay, email: dawkay@yahoo.com

RE Teachers: Teaching RE is a great opportunity to connect with the younger members of the KUF congregation. Our young people will surprise you with their energy, ideas, creativity and strong sense responsibility to our world. Teachers are an integral part of the RE program as they provide the mentorship and friendship that our young people need. Please spend some time with the RE program this year, whether it be as a teacher, an assistant, a driver or someone who leads a group activity.

 This year's RE co-chairs are: Anna Elmberg-Wright,  onewheel@kingston.net  and        Heather Robertson, robertsonhla@yahoo.ca

There is opportunity to get involved with the RE committee this year. If you are interested, please contact Anna Elmberg-Wright or Heather Robertson

For questions or more information about the RE program, please contact one of the above, call the KUF office (613-544-8777) or visit KUF during a Sunday service. The children usually enjoy the first part of our service, which includes a story, especially for them.

The purpose of Religious Education for children is to nurture children's spiritual and emotional growth by:

co-operation and sharing.

through stories, crafts, and music

learning that we are an integral part of the great web of life.
