The word “wonder,” has, of course, many different though connected meanings. As a noun, it can be a splendid mix of surprise and admiration, or something (or someone!) remarkable and strange. As a verb, wonder speaks to that deep desire to know more, to feel a restless curiosity, about something. It can also be a way to express doubt. And, obviously, to feel amazement. All these definitions are relevant to our relationship with our planet. To celebrate Earth Day, we’ll explore our changing relationship with our beloved “Blue Dot” through the many lenses of wonder.
